THE PARASAILING EXPERIENCE

If you would like to book a flight, or require details of flight times, please contact our bookings office on the above number, or check out our Contact page

A lot of people are keen to try parasailing, but almost all have three common questions...

  • Will I end up being dropped in the water?
  • Will I hurt myself when landing?
  • Where do I take off from and how does it work?

Please take a look at the snapshots below which we hope will go a long way towards reassuring you that the Humber Parascending experience is a safe, dry and painless one!

Please note the maximum weight of anyone wishing to fly is 16 stones.

1 Before anyone can even think about flying, Steve has to connect the parachute to the winch, then inflate it. This is quite a tricky job, but you can be reassured that no-one is connected to the parachute until its been inspected and inflated.

2 Prior to being called forward to fly, you will have been fitted with a very strong harness. You are connected to the parachute by two stainless steel clips which are part of the harness.

3 Once safely attached to the parachute, Steve will make sure you are comfortable and ready to fly. As you can see from the picture, the harness is strong enough to sit in, and this makes the flight all the more enjoyable.

4 As soon as you’re sitting comfortably, Steve slowly lets out the winch rope, and  its up up and away for an experience youll never forget!

Landing down

5 Then after what seems all too short a time in the air, Steve works closely with the boat handler to land you safely back down on the boat’s platform.
